The Lore

The lore of Nümiverse is a classic "utopia of escape" where society has reached such a high level of technological development that the majority of the planet's population spends its time in hyperreality. In the real world, all functions are performed by artificial intelligence and advanced robots, while humanity has fled from all problems into a virtual projection in which almost any fantasy can be realized and one can be whoever they want. In Nümiverse, there is no work as we traditionally understand it. Most people earn by participating in games, creating content, and managing real estate.

The utopian cyberpunk virtual world in hyperreality was created by the corporation Perfect One, which is a monopoly and the main operator of the Shadow modules. The Shadow modules are devices that allow one to be in a semi-hibernation mode and immerse oneself in hyperreality (virtual simulation). The simulation itself is represented as a huge spaceship megapolis, which is where the Nümiverse user ends up.

There are various real estate objects, social hubs, and games in the megapolis. Instead of the sky, there is a screen here that shows clouds or stars and sometimes breaking news. In the world of Nümiverse, there are no bright conflicts, wars, or struggles for survival. Humanity has finally reached its own "singularity" and has fulfilled its long-standing dream of a utopian society where everyone can self-realize.

Users can immerse themselves in this meta-universe through their laptop, phone, gaming console, or VR headset. The Nümiverse version for VR headsets is called Nümiverse VR. Despite the slightly different sets of capabilities of these two versions, the common functionality will be described without specifying supported devices. In general, the player can trade or rent real estate, improve their lifestyle and enhance the appearance of their avatar, play various games, find friends and communicate with them through text or voice messages, earn rewards or lootboxes, and much more.
